- Government agrees to refer evidence that some lawmakers may have aided hostile foreign powers in recent years to a judicial inquiry into interference in Canada’s democratic system.
- BOC speech Thursday defends QE and other pandemic policies, says will release review early next year. Conservative Leader Poilievre has said he will fire Governor Macklem if elected.
- Polling aggregator 338Canada shows Conservatives likely to win majority government if an election were held now. Election is due in late 2025 under traditional four-year mandate.
