TARIFFS: Supreme Court Could Announce IEEPA Opinion Next Wednesday

The US Supreme Court has updated its calendar to indicate that on Wednesday Jan 14 "The Court may announce opinions", though as usual they are not announcing what those cases are in advance. Having posted that on the official calendar, it's unlikely there will be any other days with opinions issued next week.

• So if we don't get the IEEPA tariff ruling next Wednesday at 10am, it is very likely to have to wait until at least the following week (argument days are on Jan 20 and 21, the latter of which is also the oral arguments for the Fed Gov Lisa Cook firing ruling), or even later (the next probable dates would be in February, starting Feb 20, or perhaps Feb 23, 24, 25 - calendar is here )
