MNI Take: DomSouth and TETCO M2 weakened yesterday, falling 17 cents and 14 cents, respectively. The Northeast is warming up this week and likely to push heating demand down further, with demand already down 4.2 Bcf/d overnight. The warmer than normal temps are forecast to hold for the next two weeks, which is likely to put downward pressure on regional basis. The reduced demand is being offset by increased outflows to the Midwest, Gulf Coast, and Southeast.

The Wall Street Journal reports that President Trump will nominate Brett Matsumoto as the next Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The role has not been filled since Trump fired Commissioner McEntarfer in September shortly after weaker-than-expected nonfarm payrolls report, accusing her of manipulating the data for political reasons.
