LNG: New Greek Company Established to Import LNG: ExPro

Greek companies establish a new company seeking to purchase and import LNG to Greece and for further resale, including to Ukraine, ExPro Consulting said.

• Greece’s DEPA Commercial S.M.S.A. (40%) and Aktor Group (60%) have launched the establishment of a joint company – Atlantic - SEE LNG Trade S.A.
• Ukrainian companies may sign an agreement to purchase US LNG through the new Greek company during the P-TEC Summit in Athens.
• The summit may include discussions on increasing supplies of US LNG to Ukraine including a contract from Venture Global to DTEK and Naftogaz, through the mediation of the new company.
• Import volumes may reach 2bcm per year, with gas transported via the Vertical Corridor along the jointly booked capacity routes, Route 1 or Route 2.
