MNI BRIEF: China Announces Visa Free Policy For South America

China has announced a 30 day visa free policy for ordinary passport holders from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced Thursday.
The new measures aim to improve people-to-people exchanges and will begin on June 1, 2025 until May 31, 2026, the Ministry added.
