POWER: EdF, PGE Discuss Nuclear Power Cooperation for Poland

EdF and Poland's PGE are exploring potential cooperation on nuclear power projects, PGE Ceo Dariusz Marzec said on X.
- EdF has shown interest in building Poland's second nuclear plant, according to Bloomberg.
- The unit is anticipated to begin operations in 2039, with completion in 2043, with PEJ setting a preliminary timeline to find a strategic partner by the end of 2026, MNI previously reported.
- Talks have already begun for a third nuclear power plant.
- Poland is eyeing a total nuclear capacity of around 6-9GW in the upcoming decades.
