MNI BRIEF: China Calls For Safety Of Hormuz Shipping - MOFA

China has urged the upholding of the safety shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told reporters on Tuesday. 

MOFA spokesperson Mao Ning said all parties should immediately stop military action, prevent the escalation of tension, ensure the safety of the shipping lane in the Strait of Hormuz, and prevent a wider impact on the global economy.
