The United States Treasury Department will tomorrow convene representatives of "over 30 countries" imposing sanctions and export controls against Russia for its illegal invasion of Ukraine.
- The meeting will be hosted by Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves, and Deputy Director of National Intelligence Morgan Muir.
- According to the Treasury Department, "restrictions placed on the Russian military-industrial complex have had a direct effect on the battlefield" and "rendered the Russian defense industry unable to produce and maintain critical equipment for operations in Ukraine."
- Treasury Dept: "At the meeting, hosted at the Department of the Treasury, the U.S. officials will provide new information and analysis to counterparts on the impacts of sanctions and export controls on Russia’s military-industrial complex and defense supply chains."
