Maintenance works to units at the 291kb/d Marathon Catlettsburg refinery in northeastern Kentucky processing both sweet and sour crude will extend into late November according to Bloomberg sources.

• A halt to a 104kb/d CDU and 53kb/d VDU started on 14 Oct and will continue until about the end of October.
• Maintenance on the 22kb/d low-pressure catalytic cracker reformer and a distillate desulfurizer which started last week are expected to extend until the fourth week in November.
• Work on a high-pressure vacuum gas oil unit which started in late September will continue until about the third week in November.
