In Norway, Neste’s
206kbpd Porvoo refinery is operating at minimum rates and only continues
essential work as of 11 March during two weeks of strike action. Only critical
product deliveries continue.
In France,
a fire at Exxon Mobil’s
240kbpd Port-Jerome refinery halted a 188kbpd crude unit on 11 March according
to a community alert/WoodMac.
In
Germany, BP is planning to cut
the crude capacity at the 257kbpd Gelsenkirchen from 2025 to 160kbpd. The firm plans
to halt five units at Gelsenkirchen, reducing annual crude consumption to 8mn
tons from 2025 down from 12mn tons currently.
