Workers represented by the Teamsters union at Marathon Petrolum’s 140kbpd Detroit refinery have voted to authorize strike action, the union said on Thursday.

• “If Marathon won’t offer the Teamsters whose labor makes them profitable a fair contract, workers are going to withhold their labor”, the union said in a statement.
