A fire at ExxonMobil’s Rotterdam refinery is under control according to the company’s official X account.

• The company said a small fire occurred overnight and “is now under control.”
• “The flare that is visible is the result of the planned shutdown activities and has nothing to do with the fire.” they added.
• A turnaround is scheduled from this month.
