Shell has shortlisted at least four companies as bidders for its Singapore refinery assets according to a Reuters exclusive.
- The shortlist includes CNOOC, Vitol and two Chinese chemical producers Eversun Holdings in Fujian province and Shandong province-based Befar Group.
- Bids for the assets are due by the end of February and the process is aimed to be wrapped up by the end of 2024.
- The assets include a 237,000 bpd refinery and a one million metric tpy ethylene plant on Singapore's Bukom island.
