The average wholesale price of 92-octance Gasoline in Russia rose to a new record of 58,738 roubles/tonne as of Wednesday amid a lack of supply after annual refinery season and peak domestic demand, according to data from the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) and Reuters calculations.
- The previous record was 58,731 roubles/tonne on 13 August 2013.
- Prices started rising more quickly in April due to the start of annual refinery maintenance season.
