The unscheduled stoppage of Russia’s Orsk refinery April 7 because of flooding will not affect motor fuel supplies to the domestic market due to sufficient inventories the Energy Ministry told Interfax.
- As well as having inventory, most of the units at the Orsk Oil Refinery were stopped for scheduled maintenance even before the flood, it added.
- "The Energy Ministry monitors motor fuel supply in the domestic market on a daily basis. The situation with fuel supplies to all constituent entities of the Russian Federation is stable and is under the control of the Energy Ministry's Headquarters," it said.
