Neste’s Rotterdam renewables refinery has been shut down due to a fire on 8 November 2024 the company said on Friday. 

• Neste is currently investigating the incident and the repair work will start as soon as possible it added.
• The refinery has a renewable fuel capacity of 2.7mn tons per year with 1.2mn tons per year of sustainable aviation fuel.
