DANGOTE - The Dangote refinery has the capacity to produce winter diesel for the European market according to an executive at the refinery on Tuesday, Reuters reports.

• Head of the refinery, Edwin Devakumar, confirmed reports that the refinery would soon export its first gasoline, an estimated 200,000 metric tons targeting West African and Caribbean markets.
• The 650,000 bpd refinery is expected to hit 85% of capacity by the end of this year (550,000 bpd).
• The refinery has been exporting the bulk of its other products including naphtha, diesel and aviation fuel, with Ghana among those expressing an interest in buying from the refinery Reuters reports.
