The average price of European PPAs increased on the month in August, while costs fell on 2 September from the previous session amid price falls in the energy complex, according to the latest data from Pexapark. PPA prices could be weighed on today amid lower costs of German power, EU ETS and gas.
- EU PPA prices averaged around €51.97/MWh over August from €50.39/MWh across July and €48-49.96/MWh in April-June.
- On the day, prices fell to €51.67/MWh on 2 September from €52.25/MWh on 30 August.
- PPA prices in Germany, France, UK, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands declined, while prices in the Nordics rose.
- Solar, onshore and offshore PPA prices fell between 1.02-1.68%.
