MPC member Iwona Duda has spoken in an interview with local news site money.pl. Highlights as follows:

• "In my opinion, it is too early to determine the full economic consequences of the flood for our economy, the economic situation or the level of inflation."
• Asked if there is any rate-cut discussion already, Duda says that "there is, but very preliminary". A more concrete discussion, with less uncertainty, may start after the publication of the March NBP projection.
• "As in any such body, opinions clash in the MPC, in this case 10 people. That's good, discussions are desirable. It's best when they are creative, because then they lead to good results."
