The US Treasury Dep't has imposed a raft of new sanctions on Russian entities and individuals intended to halt export control evasions. The statement (https://ofac.treasury.gov/recent-actions/20230519) says that the sanctions target more than 30 companies that import, ship, or manufacture electronics components, semiconductors and microelectronics to Russia as well as individuals aiding these circumventions.

• Secretary of State Anthony Blinken: We are continuing to target entities and individuals engaged in deportation of Ukrainian children an theft of Ukrainian grain...Sanctions also reinforce commitment of US and partners to taking action against those circumventing sanctions and export controls...Sanctions target network procuring components for manufacture of Orlan drone used by Russian forces in Ukraine.'
• The sanctions include individuals from third party nations including Liechtenstein, Finland, India, Ireland, Ukraine, Belarus, Switzerland, Poland, Germany, and the Netherlands.
