Henry Hub front month maintains small earlier losses after another lower than normal injection into US natural gas storage of 47bcf last week although with 8bcf of reclassifications from working gas to base gas, according to the latest weekly EIA data.
- The implied flow for the week is an increase of 55bcf to working gas stocks compared to the expectation for an injection of 52bcf according to a Bloomberg survey and the seasonal normal injection of about 86bcf.
- Reclassifications decreased working gas stocks 8 Bcf in the salt South Central region.
- US storage inventories however still hold a surplus of 233bcf above the previous five year average of 3,259bcf.
