• Polling stations close across the UK and at the stroke of 10pm the Ipsos exit poll published on behalf of the BBC, ITV and Sky News will be released.
• In 2019 the exit poll was broadly correct, projecting a majority for then-PM Boris Johnson’s Conservative party of 86. In the final result, the Conservative majority stood at 80 seats.
