The 6.7m mtpa Brunei LNG facility is managing an “operational upset,” according to a social media post by the plant’s operations team, Bloomberg said. 

• The report said there was visible flaring and elevated noise may be observed from the facility.
• The plant mainly supplies customers in Asia, most of whom are based in Japan.
