Kazkahstan and Russia have agreed upon the transportation of 1.2m mt of Kazakh oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline, according to TASS, citing the Kazakh Energy Ministry.
- "The parties, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, have recently agreed upon the technical opportunity of transporting along this route in 2024 in the same volumes - up to 1.2m metric tons per year," the Energy Ministry’s press service told TASS.
- The oil will be transported first via the Atyrau-Samara pipeline into Russia and then via the Druzhba pipeline to Germany.
