The return of oil exports from Kurdistan to Turkey via the ITP pipeline are still undergoing negotiations according to an Iraqi official.

• “There’s no specific time frame to resolve negotiations with foreign oil companies in the region,” government spokesman Bassem Al-Awadi said.
• “Turkey is ready to receive Iraqi oil from Kurdistan fields and there’s no issue exporting via Ceyhan,” he said.
• Iraq’s government and oil companies working in the country’s north have previously blamed each other for delays in resuming the pipeline.
• The pipeline has faced numerous false starts with no expectations for the situation to be resolved in the short term.
