EA head Fatih Birol said earlier today that its members have the capacity to do further stock releases in the future to ease any market supply concerns.

• “We still have huge amounts of stocks to be released in case we see supply disruptions,” he said.
• “Currently it is not on the agenda, but it can come anytime.” he added.
• The “world is not at all out of the woods” in terms of natural gas supply he said, stating that Europe now has to try and fill gas reserves next year without Russian gas.
