Gazprom Neft believes that there is currently no need to lift the ban on gasoline exports, its CEO Alexander Dyukov said, cited by TASS.
- "The country’s fuel market is saturated; I don’t see a shortage. But there is no need to lift the ban on gasoline exports. Moreover, we practically do not export gasoline anyway," he said.
- Dyukov added that gasoline produced in Russia is supplied primarily to the domestic market and under intergovernmental agreements often to countries of central Asia.
- The current gasoline ban is in force between March 1-Aug. 31. A similar measure was taken between Sep. 27-Nov. 17.
