Gas markets still await news on the return of Freeport LNG in Texas after it shut at the weekend ahead of Hurricane Beryl’s arrival on Monday.

• Gas flows to Freeport LNG have marginally picked up but are still much lower than before production was ramped down in anticipation of the hurricane according to BNEF.
• Freeport said the facility would restart as soon as it was safe to do so. A lack of news is providing some upward support for TTF in Europe as it remains on edge over any supply concerns.
• Uniper's LNG Rosenrot is waiting outside the US Freeport LNG terminal after Hurricane Beryl swept through Texas on Monday according to ICIS vessel tracking. They expect it to be the first vessel to load on restart.
