Fuel shipments from TotalEnergies’ Gonfreville refinery resumed on Friday after police intervened to disperse refinery workers holding a blockage, Energy Minister Agnes Pannier-Runacher said.
- "Gonfreville is France's largest refinery, the one that supplies the whole Ile-de-France region. As we speak, fuel is coming out of the refinery," Pannier-Runacher said.
- French authorities this week at Le Havre requisitioned workers to release stock to Total’s Gonfreville refinery.
- The Gonfreville site stopped operations since 21 March because of a lack of crude deliveries from Le Havre.
- Several cargoes were heading for Le Havre this week but changed course to other ports because of strike action this week.
