Exxon’s 240kbpd Gravenchon refinery in France is scheduled to halt operations on Saturday amid strike action after the firm confirmed on Thursday both its French refineries Gravenchon and Fos are still operating.
- The reason for the reduction in throughout in previous days has been due to logistical problems both in terms of crude supply and distribution through depots or by pipeline, Exxon’s CEO of the local unit, Charles Amyot said on Thursday.
- The halt was announced even after piped fuel flows from Le Havre resumed on Friday.
