The US employment report, also known as the Non Farm Payrolls (NFP) or US Jobs Report, is a monthly summary of key labor market statistics in the United States, primarily focused on employment trends and the unemployment rate. It's compiled and released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of the U.S. Department of Labor, typically on the first Friday of each month for the previous month's data.
