  • The firm is aiming to achieve a carbon capture rate of above 95% at the plant.
  • In the study, the firm will study the feasibility of carbon capture from cement production and the transport via a pipeline to the Ravenna carbon capture and storage hub.
  • Heidelberg Materials received a grant via the EU’s Innovation Fund last year for the planned GeZero CCS project at its cement plant in North Rhine-Westphalia.
