Ecuador’s oil and gas sector was operating normally on Wednesday despite a large uptick in violice in the country this week the energy ministry said.

• The ministry placed crude production at 492,343 bpd.
• The SOTE pipeline and refineries were also operating normally, out with maintenance work.
