BP’s 435k b/d Whiting Refinery in India may need up to two more weeks to restore normal production as it deals with issues during the restart, Bloomberg said.
- The refinery is currently working on restarting the largest of three crude units, the 255k b/d Pipestill 12 and its associated 60k b/d vacuum distillation unit, according to Wood Mackenzie
- Production may be restored 3-5 days after the units are restarted, according to Refined Fuels Analytics, cited by Bloomberg.
- Two smaller crude units are already back online, Bloomberg said.
