US President Joe Biden has continued a strong run of approval by maintaining his place as the most favoured US political leader.

• House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is the most improved on the list with a -9% approval rating, up from -20% in May. McCarthy's resistance to the January 6 probe and strong support of "MAGA" House reps is the likely driver behind his improved rating.
• Former President Donald Trump has dropped slightly in approval, tracking at -11.7% down from a recent high of -7% in June.
