ENERGY SECTOR: What to Watch

- The latest Baker Hughes rig count data is due for release at 13:00ET. The oil rig count data continues to trend lower down to 540 last week although the gas rigs saw a recovery last week up from 124 to 135.
- The ICE and Nymex commitments of traders reports are due for release after the close today at 18:30BST and 15:30EST. Crude managed money net long positions last week increased back up from the lowest since 2012 the previous week. ICE Gasoil was still holding onto a small net long position despite a dip on the week.
