Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves announced a new fully operational Office for Investment: Financial Services on Thursday.

The new "concierge service" will "drive investment across our United Kingdom," Reeves said at IMF's Annual Meetings in Washington, by helping "global financial services firms pick locations" and "navigate regulation."

U.S. companies pledged GBP150 billion of inward investment after Donald Trump's state visit to the UK last month, the Treasury noted in a press release.
