China will take necessary countermeasures should the U.S impose another 10% tariff on Chinese exports on March 4, China Ministry of Commerce told reporters on Friday.
The spokesperson noted the U.S. had based its tariff threat on fantasy that “shifted blame," and was counterproductive. The duties would instead increase the burden on U.S. businesses and consumers and undermine the stability of global supply chains, the spokesperson added.
