China’s Agricultural Products Wholesale Price 200 Index reached 125.64 on Thursday, the highest level since February, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced

The average price of pork in the national agricultural products wholesale market was 18.12 yuan/kg, up 1.3% from Wednesday.

China’s consumer price index is expected to rise modestly to around 0.6% y/y in 2026, after October’s 0.2% y/y increase, as improving pork prices support headline inflation, local economists and analysts told MNI. (See MNI: China Core Inflation To Ease In 2026)
