IRAN: Iranian Diplomat Says Messages Continue to be Exchanged with Mediators

Tasnim reports that "Abbas Araqchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a phone call with Basem Naeem, a member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, emphasized that the Iranian negotiating delegation raises the issue of the continuous aggression of the occupiers against Gaza, ongoing violations, and continued genocide in all international forums as well as with mediators and the American side in the ongoing negotiations."

A strong impulsive bull cycle in USDCAD remains intact and the pair continues to appreciate. The move higher signals scope for a climb towards 1.4292, the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement of the Feb ’25 - Jan ’26 downleg.  Note that the trend is in overbought territory. A corrective pullback would allow this condition to unwind. The first important support to watch lies at 1.3996, the 20-day EMA.
