CNH: USD/CNH Back Close To 7.1600 Handle
USD/CNH has pushed higher in recent dealings. The pair got to 7.1605, right around Monday session highs. We were last slightly lower at 7.1590/95. Earlier lows were close to 7.1530. These moves come ahead of the CNY fix due in about 25mins. It should show higher upward move, given the 4:30pm USD/CNY level was 7.1426 yesterday, (versus 7.1241 last Friday), while USD indices were relatively steady.
US TSYS: Marginally Richer
Tsys have marginally richened in recent dealing, the USD sits a touch weaker and e-minis have firmed off session lows to sit 0.05% firmer. This leaves cash tsys flat to 1bp richer across the major benchmarks, light bull steepening is apparent. TYU3 deals at 113-17, +0-05+, a touch off the top of the 0-04+ range.
