BRIEF: EU-Mercosur Deal In Final Negotiations - EC

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic are currently in the Mercosur region and ready to discuss the "final political compromises" of a comprehensive partnership and trade agreement on Friday, the Commission said today. 

"The final political compromises will be discussed starting tomorrow," EC Trade Spokesperson Olof Gill said.
